Cliff hanger

I end my opening sequence at the shot when the stalker is standing right behind her and she knows that she isn't alone. This raises questions in the audience's mind about what is going to happen next? Is he going to harm her? How did he enter her house? what will happen to her? It makes the audience want to watch further to know what happens next.
The last shot is a two shot with a dark colour scheme and it ends with a black screen, raising the suspense.
